Terms of Service
Last updated September 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Roasterra, a business-to-business wholesale marketplace connecting specialty-coffee roasters with wholesale buyers. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Roasterra on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.
The service
Roasterra provides a platform for roasters to list wholesale coffee and for buyers to discover roasters and place orders. Roasterra is a marketplace and technology provider; the sale contract for any order is between the roaster and the buyer. Roasterra is not the seller of the coffee.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- Accounts are for business use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We review applications to keep the marketplace curated and may approve, decline, suspend, or remove accounts at our discretion.
Orders, payments, and commission
- Buyers pay for orders through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices, availability, and shipping are set by the roaster.
- Roasterra charges roasters a commission on sales the platform originates, disclosed in the roaster dashboard. Payouts are routed to roasters through Stripe.
- Roasters are responsible for fulfilling orders, shipping, taxes, and honoring their stated terms. Refunds and disputes are handled between the roaster and buyer, consistent with applicable law.
Shopify integration
Roasters may connect a Shopify store. By connecting, you authorize Roasterra to access and sync the data described in our Privacy Policy to provide catalog, order, and fulfillment features. You may disconnect at any time; doing so stops the sync and removes the stored access credential.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including by breaking the law, infringing others’ rights, uploading harmful content, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform, or misrepresenting your products or business.
Intellectual property
Roasterra and its software are owned by Roasterra. Content you upload remains yours, and you grant Roasterra a license to host and display it to operate the service. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roasterra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Roasterra in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the platform and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
